no! Is the short answer. washing up liquid is very damaging to your paint because it is highly alkaline - this means that it will fade or oxidise. this can be fairly easily corrected with a good wash & polish or if more serious a mechanical machine mop and some paint renovator.
well, that is the how long is a piece of string question. it does depend on the vehicle, your usage and where the vehicle parks for sustained periods. however, we suggest at least once a quarter with a high quality wax and regular use of a good quality wash wax solution should suffice.
well that is fairly simple, though does depend upon why you are polishing. if the paintwork is in good or fairly good condition, then use a wax with a high carnauba content. this can be checked via the manufacturer. we would recommend autoglym's ultra high definition Wax (explained here), though there are other similar waxes on the market. .
Reveal makes these very easy to summon and dismiss. The close button is simply an anchor with a unicode character icon and a class of close-reveal-modal
. Clicking anywhere outside the modal will also dismiss it.
Finally, if your modal summons another Reveal modal, the plugin will handle that for you gracefully.
×See? It just slides into place after the other first modal. Very handy when you need subsequent dialogs, or when a modal option impacts or requires another decision.
